Metal Beam Crash Barriers ORÂ W Beam Crash Barriers are semi rigid type vehicle restraint system. It absorbs energy by utilizing the elasticity and kneads ability of steel.
On account of its higher rigidity than a wire rope safety barrier, a Metal Beam Crash Barriers results in a harder impact on the crashing vehicle and its occupants. However higher rigidity means that the deflections are typically less as compared to a similar impact with a wire rope crash barrier. Therefore, Metal Beam Crash Barriers may be used at locations where there is a limitation of working width.
The PASSCO Metal Beam Crash Barriers have proven themselves technically and economically in Crash Tests and meet the requirements of EN 1317. Also available in a choice of containment Levels (N2, H1, H2, H3 or H4) and working Widths.
